told when her family celebrates St. Nicholas' Day.

This year, many Ukrainians were worried about how to celebrate the long-awaited holiday, because according to the new calendar it falls on December 6, and according to the old - on December 19. Tarabarova also shared her thoughts on this matter. 

Recently on Instagram, the performer shared that this year her family decided to celebrate St. Nicholas on December 6, but because she and her husband and children fell ill, they forgot about it. 

"With this physical condition, we just missed St. Nicholas Day, which we were going to celebrate for the first time on December 6, but we will get better today," Svitlana said.

The singer also explained her position on when to celebrate. 

"We are for December 6. I am for any separation from terrorists. In addition, many European countries welcome children on December 6. The new calendar is important for our future. Yes, we are the ones who are experiencing all these historical events. But it is important , believe me," said Svitlana.

It should be noted that this year in Ukraine there was a

question

regarding the transfer of all church holidays to other dates, according to the new calendar.

However, as reported by the OCU, the final decision has not yet been made, therefore, in 2022, the Ukrainian Church will celebrate Saint Nicholas Day on December 19.
