The PRESIDENT of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has said that Ukraine intends to change the electricity lines, in order to bring stability to its grid after being affected by Russian missile attacks yesterday.


Russia yesterday launched its missiles in some areas, which caused many regions to be affected by the availability of electricity, while local authorities warned that almost half of Kyiv Region will remain without electricity in the future.

Many of the shells hit power infrastructure and residential areas near the southern city of Zaporizhzhia, regional officials said.

Four people were killed in Monday's attacks.

Ukraine is currently facing a severe heat wave in many areas, and millions are without electricity and running water.

There are fears that several people may die from the situation.

In another step today Tuesday, the governor of the Kursk region in Russia, has said that a drone attack on the airport burned a fuel storage tank.

"There are no injuries so far," said Roman Starovoyt.

He did not say the suspects of the attack in the area bordering Ukraine.
