The Kremlin has launched disinformation operations against Ukraine to falsify the crimes of the Russian occupiers for American and Russian audiences.

The goal is to weaken the US support for Ukraine.

The Kremlin has bet on conservative US politicians and media allies.

The Guardian agency writes about it.

Pro-Kremlin videos from the RT network, which ceased operations in the US in early 2022, were presented at

Rumble.

It is a popular video sharing platform among conservatives.

American journalists note that the social network last year received significant funding from a venture capital firm founded by recently

elected Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance and backed by billionaire Peter Thiel.

US aid is one of Washington's priorities

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the United States has been actively helping Ukraine to resist the invaders.

For example, US President Joe Biden recently stated that helping Ukraine and the fight against COVID-19 are Washington's top priorities.

It should be noted that Reuters, with reference to the State Department, informed that the

United States allocated 53 million dollars to Ukraine for the restoration of energy infrastructure

 after missile attacks by Russia.

The assistance package will include distribution transformers, circuit breakers, surge arresters and other equipment.
