The representative of the USA said that despite the terrible attacks, the Ukrainians are holding extremely steady.

"During the last visit of the US ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield to Kyiv, President Zelensky told her that he seeks a just peace based on the principles of the UN Charter, and this is what this Council protects and supports," Carty said.

"President Putin is ramping up his bombing of Ukrainian infrastructure, which shows that he has no genuine interest in negotiations or meaningful diplomacy. Instead, he is trying to break Ukraine's will to fight by dropping bombs and freezing them into submission. But he doesn't care will not succeed, because Ukraine is fighting for its freedom, for the future of its children.
