The State Department has approved the sale

of an additional 116 Abrams tanks and ammunition to

Poland .

This was

reported by

Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak.

He noted that this is another step to strengthen the military potential of the Armed Forces of Poland.

The minister said that the first deliveries of tanks will begin next year, and now there is a dialogue between the countries regarding the price for the equipment.

Blaszczak added that strong armed forces are a guarantee for the country's security.
