As of the evening of December 6, the deficit of electricity capacity after yesterday's Russian attack is 19% of the projected consumption.

Energy experts promise to eliminate the consequences of the missile attack in the coming days.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal told about this during the government meeting.

"Yesterday, air defense forces shot down more than 60 Russian missiles. This is an incredible result, thanks to which many lives were saved, and the energy system of Ukraine remained intact and controlled by Ukrenergo dispatchers. Despite hitting individual objects of the energy infrastructure, energy companies promise to eliminate the consequences of yesterday's attacks in the coming days shelling," the head of government emphasized.

Shmygal added that, in general,

35% of the key objects of trunk networks were damaged by massive attacks by the aggressor countries of the Russian Federation in recent months:

70% of them were fired upon two or more times.

"Yesterday, the enemy fired 7 rockets

at one of the substations in the Odesa region at once.

Therefore, blackouts continue to operate in the country," he explained.
