Lin Zhanzhenmei is a member of the Atayal tribe in the Huanshan tribe in Heping District, Taichung City. "Grandma", who participated in the performance of the film, won the award for the first time in the film. Today, Taichung Mayor Lu Xiuyan presented the "Taichung City Outstanding Person Medal".

The Taichung Indigenous Peoples Affairs Committee stated that "Ha Yong's GAGA" tells the life of Taiwan's aboriginal tribal families.
