The return of the rule of using 2 ballot papers, increasing constituency MPs to 400 people, reducing the list of MPs to 100 people, resulting in 37 provinces gaining one more constituency MP for another 5 provinces. District MPs added 2 per province, and Bangkok got a quota of 3 more district MPs.

In total, there are 43 provinces (out of 77 provinces) having to divide the constituencies again.

to support the number

MPs, districts that have changed from the original!

But until now, the Election Commission has not clearly announced the new constituencies.

Causing candidates to run for constituency MPs still do not know what their own constituency is like

Still have to wait for the Election Commission to draw a new constituency line with suffering

"Mother Luk Chan" Krachun, Mr. Itthiporn Boonprakong, President of the Election Commission, hastened to organize the division of 400 constituencies across the country as quickly as possible.

Importantly, the Election Commission must draw a new boundary line.

to achieve transparency, purity and fairness

The division of constituencies will truly prove the neutrality of the Election Commission of Thailand!!

Oh... there is still an important issue that the Election Commission of Thailand needs to clear for the villagers to get rid of their doubts.

Is the Election Commission setting a budget for organizing the new election?

because every baht and every satang of the public's tax money

"Mother Luk Chan" heard the news that the Election Commission of Thailand requested a budget of 5,200 million baht in the middle of 2023 for holding new elections.

approximately one billion baht higher than the 2019 election budget

"Mother Luk Chan" found that the Election Commission withdrew the central budget for the 2019 general election in the amount of 4,220 million baht.

But the Election Commission actually spent only 3,534 million baht on the election budget.

Equal to the Election Commission of Thailand, the budget for the previous election was still 686 million baht!!

Asked if...the remaining budget was 686 million baht, did the Election Commission return the central budget or not??

or retained as the accumulated income of the Election Commission??

This is an important issue that the Election Commission must address.

"Mother Luk Chan" admitted that the rule of two ballot papers caused the Election Commission to spend quite a bit more budget for organizing elections.

Because of the 2 ballot system, the ECT has to print twice as many ballot papers!!

The vote counting committee must be added separately into 2 sets.

Election Commissioners must be increased from 6 to 9 members.

And the Election Commission must increase the number of polling stations to balance the number of additional 3 million voters.

but still

The budget for organizing new elections is unlikely to be as high as 5,200 million baht, as the Election Commission has requested from the central budget.

Just print 48 million more ballot papers.

Add another 3 vote counting committee members

Increase the budget for transporting chests and ballot papers by 10 percent

Let's face it, the new election budget is only 4,200 million baht, which is plenty.

Unfortunately, there will be another large sum of money left over.
