Argentinian paleontologists have discovered the remains of a new species of small dinosaur that lived 70 million years ago.

APA reports that this was reported by the National Council for Scientific Research CONICET.

It was reported that the dinosaur lived in Patagonia during the Cretaceous period - 70 million years ago.

The new dinosaur has been named

Patagopelta cristata

after the area where it was found .

Compared to other dinosaurs, it was very small - only 3 meters long.
