A meeting was held with the national activist of South Azerbaijan, the head of South Azerbaijan Television (GunazTV) Ahmet Obali at the Social Research Center.

APA reports that at the meeting, the deputies of the Milli Majlis and the national activist Ahmet Obali exchanged views on the latest situation in South Azerbaijan.

Ahmed Obali drew attention to the Iranian regime's ban on the Azerbaijani language and noted that it is a serious problem: "The Iranian regime is a state built on the ideology of Persianism.

In Iran, a law has been adopted regarding the adequacy of knowledge of the Persian language.

In other words, a child going to secondary school in Iran must know Persian language.

If he does not know, they are sent to private schools.

Which is almost like an insult to go to this school."

MP Ziyafat Asgarov touched on the Iran-Armenia relations: "Although friendship and brotherhood are expressed many times in statements, we have not seen friendship and brotherhood in the relationship over the years.

Finally, the issue of the "red line" voiced by Iran regarding the border of Armenia clearly explains the attitude in question."

Speaking, MP Javanshir Pashazade assessed the ongoing processes in Iran as the conditions created for the independence of South Azerbaijan.

Fazil Mustafa, the deputy chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, accused Iran of violating the neighborly relations: "Iran did not follow the neighborly relations as a neighboring state. On the contrary, it continuously supported the state that is our enemy. What is happening in Iran now is a struggle for people's rights. And most importantly, many people in South Azerbaijan "Unfortunately, most of them are illiterate population. It is true that the Iranian regime did this, but in today's situation, this is an issue against the said struggle."

The deputy drew attention to the pro-Iranian forces inside Azerbaijan: "We have Iran's column of ignorance. Yes, we are a strong state, but at the same time, we have a column of ignorance prepared by Iran. This always means danger."

Fazil Mustafa emphasized the current internal and external problems of Azerbaijan: "Azerbaijan is a strong state, this is the truth.

However, we currently have a wound that has not fully healed."

Zahid Oruj noted the position of the states regarding Azerbaijan's victory: "For me, the 44-day war continues on other levels. Our victory worries dozens of states. Unfortunately, one of these states is Iran."

The deputy noted that the current situation in Iran will affect the future of this country: "Iran will not be the Iran it used to be. This is certain. I think the idea that war cannot be declared because the people are illiterate is wrong. History has shown us this and history has proven it."

After the speeches, the exchange of ideas about the proposals continued.
