Russian opposition journalist and former member of the State Duma Ihor Yakovenko believes that there is a certain split within the Kremlin, but it has not yet been publicly announced.

"UNIAN" writes about it.

Ihor Yakovenko noted that there is no public policy and discussion in Russia, but certain cracks are already visible in the Kremlin.

He explained that because of this, Russian propagandists talked about responsibility for public calls to kill Ukrainians.

He also added that even the ideologue of the so-called "Novorossiya", State Duma deputy Kostyantyn Zatulin, began to "speak in human language."

This does not indicate that Russia has repented, they are simply driven by fear.

"The number of people who have fled now from the administration of the president, from the government, from the administration of various subjects of the Federation is hundreds and hundreds of people. They understand that a tribunal has been established in France to investigate the crime of the Putin regime. This is all done publicly, and they understand , how will it all end," the Russian journalist explained.

Is a coup in Russia possible: experts' opinions

Immediately after Russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine, discussions about the future of the Kremlin regime began.

Some believe that Putin can be removed from power, but others are convinced that this will not happen.

Russian oppositionist and publicist Andriy Piontkovsky emphasized that the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin may "fall apart" as a result of the coup.

He convinced that this could happen due to a split in the Kremlin.

American professor at the University of California in Los Angeles, political scientist Daniel Treisman believes that the collapse of Putin's regime may occur due to a lost war.

According to him, the entire structure of political management created by Putin over the course of 22 years has two key flaws: too rigid vertical management and the president's dependence on a constant show of force.

Russian opposition leader Ilya Yashin said that removing Putin from outside is unrealistic.

The political prisoner strongly doubts that overthrowing Putin is possible through internal protests.
