[Reporter Fang Zhixian/Kaohsiung Report] A man surnamed Chen was driving his girlfriend surnamed Cai, and was stopped by a man surnamed Lai and other 7 cars in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City. The suspect smashed the car with a bat and took Chen Nan away. The police Reportedly intercepted and rescued Chen Nan, and arrested 10 people in 6 vehicles one after another. Although the two parties insisted that it was a "driving dispute", the police found out that it was caused by a "debt dispute". The 3 suspects are in custody after the prosecutors applied to the Kaohsiung District Court.

Gaoshi police chief Lin Yantian went to the Qianzhen sub-bureau this afternoon to commend those who have made great contributions to solving the case. He said that members of the special case team, including Qianzhen, Lingya police sub-bureau, and criminal police brigade, successfully arrested Lai (22-year-old ), Yan (37 years old) and rescued the victim. The police arrested 10 people in 6 vehicles within 17 hours.

At around 1 a.m. on the 5th, Chen Nan (31 years old) drove his girlfriend surnamed Cai on Cuiheng North Road in a blue car. He was stopped by 7 cars driven by people surnamed Lai and Yan. More than 20 men got out of the car. 10 people held bats and smashed the body and windows of Chen Nan's car crazily. Two people surnamed Lai and Yan took Chen Nan into the car with watermelon knives. After smashing the car for about 1 minute, the 20 suspects took another 7 cars Flee from the scene, leaving Miss Cai alone.

After the police received the report, within one hour they arrested Lai Jiyan and two people in a car on Siwei Road in Lingya, and rescued Chen Nan. They then followed up overnight and arrested eight accomplices in Tainan City and other places within 17 hours.

After the suspect arrived at the case, he agreed with Chen Nan that it was a "driving dispute", but the police believed that the case was not simple, and after in-depth investigation, it was found that it was caused by a "debt dispute".

After the police inquiry, he was transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office for follow-up investigation based on the crimes of obstructing order, attempted murder, obstructing freedom, and injury.

The three main suspects, surnamed Lai, Yan and Fang, have been detained by the Kaohsiung District Court after the prosecutor applied.

Police are continuing to search for other accomplices.

After the suspect smashed the car, he fled the scene in 7 cars, leaving Ms. Cai alone, and the police were called to the scene.
