The new Russian missile attack on Ukraine, with which the aggressor state tried to destroy the infrastructure of our country, received a preemptive strike that Moscow did not expect.

Russian human rights defender and blogger Mark Feigin expressed this opinion on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

He noted that Russia's tactics up to that time had been quite predictable.

"These shellings were announced, even the Ukrainian side reported that it is necessary to prepare for the fact that these shellings will continue. Moscow has chosen a strategy and tactics in the form of strikes on civilian infrastructure. So here, as it were, everything is predictable," he emphasized.

However, before today's mass attack by the enemy, Ukraine showed that it can now launch preemptive strikes against the Russian Federation.

According to him, the events at the Engels airfield in the Saratov region, where at least two planes were damaged as a result of the explosion, clearly demonstrate that the defenders of our country will not tolerate Moscow's attacks.

"The question is whether Ukraine has the means to counter this, both defensive and striking. I think this is definitely some kind of military decision... It is absolutely clear that the next strikes will not do without preventive actions by the Ukrainian army... It is already there will be no one-sided impunity attack on critical infrastructure and strikes on the civilian population from the side of Moscow," Feigin summarized, expressing hope that Ukraine will receive even more means of strikes and this will force the Kremlin to think about the feasibility of continuing the tactics of missile attacks.

We will remind, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was informed about the consequences of airstrikes on the Diaghilev and Engels military airfields on the territory of Russia.
