The Allahabad High Court had also rejected the petition demanding the opening of 22 rooms of the Taj Mahal.

The petition demanding opening of the rooms to find out the real history of Taj Mahal has been rejected in the Supreme Court.

Refusing to hear this petition, the court said that it is a publicity interest litigation.

The High Court has not committed any mistake in rejecting this petition.

A bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice MM Sundresh dismissed the petition.

It was said in the petition that there is no scientific evidence that Shah Jahan had built the Taj Mahal.

A request was made to find out the truth and facts by opening the basement rooms of the Taj Mahal.

Regarding this demand, Dr. Rajneesh Singh had filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

In the petition filed, an appeal has been made to the Supreme Court to order the formation of a fact-finding committee to find out the history of the world-famous building Taj Mahal.

The Supreme Court asked to withdraw the petition.

The Supreme Court asked the petitioner to talk to the Archaeological Department.

Why have you come here?

On this, the petitioner's lawyer, Advocate Varun Sinha said that we had also given representation to the Archaeological Department.

There is no clarity about the history of Taj Mahal.

This was the palace of Raja Mansingh.

Its reality should come to the fore.

The Supreme Court said that you will decide that the facts are wrong?

You go to the government and give a representation.

You go to the Archaeological Department.

In his petition, Surjit Singh Yadav sought to determine the exact age of the Taj Mahal and bring out the correct historical facts behind the construction of the Mughal era monument.

It was also said in the petition that orders should be issued to find out what was present there before the monument.

The petition states that the Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal in 22 years between 1631 and 1653, but these are only statements made in the history of that period.

No scientific evidence has come to the fore to prove this.

Please tell that the Allahabad High Court had also rejected the petition demanding opening of 22 rooms of the Taj Mahal.

Rejecting the petition, the Allahabad High Court had said that do research on the topic about which you do not know.

Go do MA on this subject, do PhD.

In this exercise, if any institute does not allow you to do research, then come to us.

After this the petition was dismissed.

That order was challenged by Dr. Singh in the Supreme Court.
