The fact that the parties agreed to base the peace treaty on the Almaty Declaration eases the final case.

According to APA's Moscow correspondent, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this at a joint press conference on the results of his talks with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister.

Speaking about the current proposals regarding the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Lavrov noted that Russia's proposal to sign a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan had been there for a long time: "This proposal was presented to the parties at the beginning of this year. In Prague, the parties agreed on the signing of the peace treaty based on the Almaty Declaration. The parties agree to this. This eases the solution of the task related to the peace agreement," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
