On the eve of the student holiday - December 8, reservations have already been made, and winter resorts are ready to welcome students.

However, how much will the holiday cost in terms of inflation?

And this year, most students chose to celebrate December 8 in villas and guest houses.

"Where 15-20 people can gather.

This is how the more normal price comes out - about BGN 1,500 average price, and what is offered in hotels is between BGN 100 - the lowest price - and BGN 160 for two nights, which includes the use of all extras, that the hotel has," commented Rumen Draganov from the Institute for Analyzes and Evaluations in Tourism on the program "This Morning".

Prices at winter resorts, however, vary from BGN 100 to over BGN 160 per person for a double room.

The cheapest places for entertainment are in Pamporovo - between BGN 100 and 125 per person, and the most expensive is in Bansko, where prices start at BGN 118 for two nights and a package prepared by the hosts.

Far from the winter resorts, taverns in Northwestern Bulgaria are ready to welcome their guests for Christmas and New Year.

However, inflation has driven up envelope prices.

“There will be growth of around 30% to 40% depending on the products.

The most serious is the increase in the price of dairy products, which we mainly use.

It's a nightmare for us," says Barry Rusev, manager of the tavern.

The sums for the special New Year's menu in the poorest region of Europe, however, rarely exceed BGN 100. Despite the price increase due to inflation, the available seats are already limited.
