There is news of long traffic jam in Goa.

After a minor accident on the bridge built on the Zuari river in the capital Panaji, there was a long jam on the National Highway for 3 hours.

Due to this, many people even missed their flight.

Vehicles were stuck due to traffic jam on the National Highway connecting South Goa.

Some missed their office, some missed their train.

At the same time, due to not being able to reach Dabolim airport on time, many passengers missed their flight.

A senior police officer told news agency PTI that a tempo hit an SUV at Zuari bridge, about 15 km from Panaji.

This accident happened in the morning.

After this, the movement of vehicles stopped.

Soon there was a traffic jam.

There was a traffic jam for 45 minutes, after which both the vehicles were pulled out with a crane, but in the meantime a long line of vehicles had formed on the National Highway.

Many vehicles were stranded for more than three hours.

Kedar Mapexenkar, a real estate professional who was stuck in the traffic jam along with his children, said, “We were going from Madgaon to Panaji.

But due to the jam, he was stuck for more than three hours.

We decided to return home as the congestion was huge and there was no possibility of crossing the bridge."

At the same time, Avit Narvekar, who was going to the airport from Panaji, told that he could not reach the airport on time due to being stuck in the traffic jam.

He missed his flight.

At the same time, when contacted, a senior official of the Airports Authority of India (AII) said that they have not received any complaint regarding late arrival at the airport.
