Renowned tennis coach Nick Bollettieri has died at the age of 92, Tennis World reports.

The American passed away on Sunday, December 4, after complications from a kidney infection.

During his coaching career, Bollettieri coached 12 future No. 1s in men's and women's singles and doubles.

Among its graduates are the Russians Maria Sharapova and Anna Kournikova, the Americans Andre Agassi, Jim Currier, the Williams sisters, the German Tommy Haas and the Swiss Martina Hingis.

In 2014, Bollettieri was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
