Law enforcement officers have charged a 48-year-old psychiatrist from one of

Lviv

's medical institutions with extorting and receiving illegal benefits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.  

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to law enforcement officers, the

woman demanded $200 from the serviceman

for issuing him a discharge epicrisis, as the man was being treated at the specified institution. 

Law enforcement officers searched the doctor's office, where they discovered and seized documents, money and other physical evidence indicating her involvement in the crime.

The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of round-the-clock house arrest.

Bribes for illegal border crossing

In Transcarpathia, the police detained the head of the "Tys" customs post of the Transcarpathian Customs and his deputy, who are suspected

of extorting bribes from a motor carrier

.

The law enforcement officers detained them while receiving the next part of the bribe - 7.5 thousand euros.

And in Lviv, they detained two heads of public organizations who promised to prepare a certificate of unfitness

for military service for  a

man for $5,000 .

Due to schemes involving the

sale of Ukrainian grain

, the SBU conducted searches at customs offices in Kyiv, Lviv, and Chernivtsi regions.
