The Russian invaders held civilians hostage for almost two days trying to pass through the enemy

checkpoint

in Vasylivka.

On Friday, December 2, the occupiers forced people who were traveling from Zaporizhzhia to support their loved ones in the occupation to spend the night on the side of the road in sub-zero temperatures.

The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, told about it.

"But the continuation of this terror was another terror. Out of those civilians who spent the night in the cold in Vasylivka, 8 cars were never allowed in," the mayor said.

According to him, some people were immediately deported to Zaporozhye.

And some were "taken for a ride" - first they took them to the commandant's office in occupied Melitopol, and then they returned them to Vasylivka.

"The orcs applied a total inspection to all people, they checked too nervously. Physical force was applied to individual peaceful unarmed residents - they beat them with the butt of a machine gun. At the same time, everything was done in the style of the Rashists: no explanations - only rude talk and violence. After two days of causeless terror, people were forced to return to Zaporizhzhia", said the mayor of Melitopol.

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia region

According to the General Staff,

the occupiers are withdrawing separate units

from the Zaporizhzhia region and preparing the evacuation of collaborators.

Thus, enemy units based in the local police station and one of the educational institutions left the temporarily captured Mykhailivka.

In the village of Myrne, which is located near the occupied Melitopol, the aggressors are planned to be

placed in homes where civilians live.

On December 2,

the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Russian occupiers

near the village of Terpinya in the Melitopol district, as a result of which the enemy suffered losses.

In the Zaporizhzhia region ,

after each explosion, the occupiers

search houses, take prisoners for Ukrainian symbols or weapons.
