On Sunday, December 4, the head of the UOC MP, Metropolitan Onufriy, consecrated the scandalous secretary of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese, Nikita (Storozhuka), as a bishop.
The press service of the UOC MP informs about this.
Metropolitan Onufriy performed the episcopal ordination of Archimandrite Nikita (Storozhuk) to the bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomiysk, who manages the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy.
The ordination took place in the UOC MP monastery in Feofania.
He was assisted by Metropolitan Meletii of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, who returned from Moldova, and Metropolitan Pavlo, the Vicar of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, against whom the NSDC imposed sanctions.
"Before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy, after which the episcopal ordination took place, a special ceremony was performed. The candidate for the episcopal priesthood made a confession of faith and made a vow to preserve the Tradition of the Church. According to tradition, Bishop Nikita gave the faithful his first archpastoral blessing," the message reads.
Scandal with a naked underage boy
It should be noted that the ex-secretary of the Chernivtsi eparchy, who now "went for promotion" and became the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy of the UOC MP, previously became involved in a scandal.
According to the mass media, it was this priest who was caught by SBU officers more than a week ago together with a naked boy during searches in the Chernivtsi diocese.
Information appeared on the Internet that the young man is only 17 years old.
The clergyman himself denied this information and stated that they were forced to undress by SBU employees.
Note that the SBU has not officially confirmed the fact of the sex scandal.
She only stated that during the searches, the law enforcement officers found methods from Moscow, Russian citizenship and identification cards of the occupiers.
However, yesterday LB.ua reported that during the searches in the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC MP, they found a laptop with child pornography.
According to preliminary data, the videos were not downloaded from the Internet, but recorded on a camera.
