The decision to apply a price limit to Russian oil was published in the "Official Journal" of the European Union.

APA reports that starting from December 5, the purchase price for 1 barrel of Russian oil has been set at a maximum of $60.

According to the decision, oil should be bought at least 5% cheaper than the market price.

In addition, it is prohibited to provide technical assistance and financial services to tankers carrying Russian oil.

No sanctions have been provided for oil products transported through the Russian territory in transit.
