Defense forces of Ukraine advancing in the south and east can isolate Crimea and redeploy HIMARS and other high-precision, long-range weapons to inflict devastating blows on the logistics system of the Russian Armed Forces.

The former commander of the US Ground Forces in Europe, Ben Godges, said this in the issue of New Debate.

In his opinion, the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should isolate the temporarily occupied Crimea and deprive the Russian Armed Forces of supplies that are currently underway through the Crimean Bridge.

Also, the liberation of the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson Region gave the Armed Forces of Ukraine the opportunity to redeploy HIMARS and other high-precision, long-range weapons in order to inflict devastating blows on the logistics system of the Russian troops.

"This is a very important step to tighten the noose around Crimea. The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson area is the right wing. The efforts that began in early September in the Kharkiv region and continue in the direction of Donetsk, Luhansk and Mariupol are the left... Soon the only a possible way to deliver or take something out of the Crimea will soon be ships, which, of course, are vulnerable."

Godges said.

We will remind that according to the information of the military intelligence of Ukraine, there are currently no signs of the creation of a powerful strike group of the enemy on the territory of Belarus, but nevertheless, the prospect of the threat of the use of the group "Union State" Belarus-Russia remains.
