In order to break the public's myth that sexual assault victims wear revealing and cool clothes, Taiwan Normal University students spontaneously formed a group Kaos, and recently held the ideal victims (the ideal victims) sexual assault clothing public welfare exhibition, hoping to convey the issue of gender equality and call for The masses stop censoring victims.

Incidents of sexual assault and harassment are frequent. According to statistics from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, there will be as many as 16,000 reported sexual assault cases in 2021, with an average of 44 sexual assault incidents per day.

Lin Liling, deputy director of the team, explained that the exhibition mainly displays the clothes worn by the victims at the time of the incident. Some of the clothes were provided by the victims, and some were described by the victims, and the team restored and simulated the clothes at that time.

Lin Liling said that most of the victims were of a younger age group, and the clothes they were wearing were actually ordinary, student attire, such as T-shirts, jeans, or school uniforms, which were different from the more revealing and sexy clothes that the public imagined. .

The team said that the exhibition was inspired by information about foreign related exhibitions when Liao Tingyi, the general caller, was preparing for class assignments. Although the class was over, they still spontaneously organized Kaos, mainly composed of Taiwan Normal University students, and invited those who are interested in this topic Friends from all over the world joined in and spent nearly half a year preparing, planning and curating the exhibition.

Mainly use anonymous methods to let victims fill in the online form, and invite KOL, Youtuber, celebrities, etc. to respond to the event. The exhibition exhibits about 24 sets of clothing and 38 stories.

The team hopes to break the public's myth that victims wear clothes, and through the exhibition, more people can see the original appearance of sexual assault incidents, and appeal to stop reviewing victims, or continue to stereotype victims, so that the public can further understand sex Causes, myths, and voices of victims of abuse and sexual harassment.
