Zhu Lilun also said that the people also responded strongly to the DPP's repeated use of "anti-China protection Taiwan" to divide the Taiwanese people and use it as a weapon in the election campaign. This result shows the normal state of democracy and is also a victory for Taiwan's democracy.

Regarding cross-strait issues, Chu Li-lun said that most people in Taiwan want peace and stability on both sides of the strait and maintain the status quo. In the past, when the Kuomintang was in power, cross-strait relations developed peacefully and maintained communication channels. It was the most experienced political party in handling cross-strait relations. The "2D strategy" of "Defense" and "Dialogue" is the best way to defend Taiwan and the Republic of China at this stage. The KMT will also continue its foreign policy of "pro-US, friendly to Japan, and peace with China".

The KMT pointed out that the members of the delegation include: former U.S. congressman Will Hurd, former German federal senator Marieluise Beck, vice chairman of the European People's Party in the European Parliament Arnaud Danjean, former U.S. Navy deputy secretary Janine Davidson, former director of the U.S. National Geospatial Intelligence Agency Robert D. Sharp, former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Special Advisor to the Vice President of the European Commission Nathalie Tocci, Director of the Swedish Center for China Studies Jerker Hellström, President of the German Marshall Fund Heather Conley, Director of the German Marshall Fund's Asia Program Ge Come on Bonnie Glaser.
