The mysterious death of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Volodymyr Makei - as one of the versions says - a signal to

Alexander Lukashenko himself.

Military expert Mykhailo Samus said this.

to involve the Belarusian armed forces in an attack against Ukraine.

Currently, there is no group ready to launch an operation against Ukraine.

The only thing that is noted is that the infrastructure is being prepared for such a group," he said.

We will remind, on November 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs Volodymyr Makei

was buried in Belarus  .

The sudden death of the 64-year-old head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was considered almost the most influential politician after the self-proclaimed president

Oleksandr Lukashenka

, came as a surprise to everyone.

The official cause of death was a heart attack, but a number of experts put forward versions of poisoning.

Mackay worked in high positions in the Belarusian government for more than 20 years.

He was Lukashenko's assistant, then the head of his administration, and from 2012 he headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Franak Vyachorka, an adviser to the leader of the Belarusian opposition Svitlana

Tykhanouska

, told the "Freedom" channel that Lukashenko lost "a friend, a faithful dog", a person "who took him to the West and whitewashed all crimes."

Finding a replacement for Makei Lukashenko will be extremely difficult.

"To replace Mackay with no one really, because it's not about the position, it's about the person. And when you're a tyrant, a dictator, surrounded by thick walls, you don't trust anyone, then every such person, there are very few of them, who are loyal to you, they are very valuable." — said Vyachorka.

Russian oppositionist

Mark Feigin

 pointed out the

strange circumstances of the death

Volodymyr Makei — "it's like dying of a cold in war."

"Probably, he was a certain communicator who really voiced an interesting scenario for Lukashenka under the conditions of the West regarding non-participation in the operation from the north regarding Ukraine. Could this be the case? I do not rule it out. Does this mean that Moscow was interested in eliminating such Lukashenka's confidant to simply disappear? You know, we've seen everything, we won't be surprised by anything," he said.

Analysts

of the Robert Lansing Institute (Robert Lansing Institute, RLI)

 concluded that Russia

plans to eliminate Alexander Lukashenko

in order to gain control over the army of Belarus and use it in the war with Ukraine.

It is noted that the Kremlin has allegedly already made a relevant decision.
