The Yunjianan Management Office said that the bird watching competition is the only bird watching event in Taiwan that spans three counties and cities in Yunjianan and three national scenic area management offices.

In particular, the special ecological environment of Yantian wetlands and lagoons along the southwestern coast of Taiwan attracts winter migratory birds every year. Not only are there a variety of species, but the number is even more spectacular. Golden plovers and various herons are definitely the best choice for bird watching in Taiwan.

For the slow-flying group who have no experience in participating in the competition, the Yunjianan Management Office also plans to guide the bird-watching guides throughout the process, and take a small trip to visit the hotspots of bird-watching along the coast of Yunjiannan, hoping to drive the trend of eco-tourism.

During the bird-watching season, the Yunjianan Management Office also prepares 20 sets of professional bird-watching binoculars and bird-watching illustrated books, which are placed in Tainan Qigu, Beimen, and Yunlinkou Lake Visitor Centers for free borrowing.
