Sweden has extradited a PKK member to Turkey.

APA reports with reference to TRT that Sweden has extradited Mahmut Tat, who was sentenced to 6 years and 10 months in prison for being a member of the PKK, to Turkey.

Due to his prison sentence, Tat went to Sweden in 2015 and applied for asylum, but was rejected.

Tat, who was arrested by the police in Sweden some time ago, was detained in the detention center in Mölndal.

From here, he was sent to Turkey by plane.

Mahmut Tat, who was sentenced to 6 years and 10 months for PKK membership, is expected to be arrested after the trial.
