An art exhibition was held at Baku Railway Station on December 3 - International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

"APA-Economics" informs that the paintings of 19 people with disabilities, including children and young people, were exhibited at the art exhibition "Karabakh in our colorful world", which took place on December 1-3.

The exhibition was organized by the "Azerbaijan Railways" Closed Joint Stock Company (ADY), as well as the joint support of "Azerbaijan Joint Aid" Organization (UAFA) and "Skillful Hands" Public Union.

In our country, measures in the field of social protection and rehabilitation of persons belonging to such a vulnerable category are being strengthened and expanded year by year.

As well as their integration into society, state policy is based on international approaches, especially the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The purpose of organizing the exhibition is to support the integration of people with physical disabilities into society within the framework of ADY's social responsibility measures, and to contribute to increasing society's attention and care to people of this category.

During the three-day exhibition, conditions were created for the sale of 30 handicraft samples at the station.

At the end of the exhibition, in order to stimulate creative work, the participants were presented with letters of thanks on behalf of the Society.
