Spanish police said the six letter bombs that were sent against several embassies and other important sites in Madrid were set off from the northern Spanish city of Valladolid, Reuters reported, citing Mundo.

The letter bombs were sent to Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the Ukrainian embassy, ​​government offices, an EU satellite company and the US embassy between November 24 and December 2.

Most of them were defused by sappers, but one letter bomb ignited in the Ukrainian embassy and slightly wounded one person.
