Ukrainian diplomats are intimidated and terrorized.

Different embassies received as many as 18 suspicious letters, including those with animal remains.

In Poland, such correspondence was received by the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw, and the consulate in Krakow received the packages twice, TSN reports.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych, refused to comment to TSN on the suspicious correspondence, but it is known that the local police have opened criminal proceedings based on these facts and are investigating where these letters came from and what kind of powder was inside.

It all started in Madrid, where a mail bomb exploded in the Ukrainian embassy.

It was in an envelope with a letter addressed to the ambassador, but the letter was opened by an employee, who suffered from the explosion.

After that, the Ukrainian embassies of 12 countries received bloodstained letters - in particular, diplomatic missions in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, Italy and the Czech Republic.

Employees were even evacuated in Brno because of a suspicious package.

The entrance to the ambassador's residence in the Vatican was vandalized, the embassy in Kazakhstan received a report of a mine attack, which was not confirmed later.

The embassy in the USA received a letter with a photocopy of a critical article about Ukraine.

Like most envelopes, this letter arrived simultaneously with others from the territory of one European country.

In total, according to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, there were 18 facts of receiving strange letters in 12 countries.

It is known that in the middle of some packages were the eyes of pigs and cows, and the sheets themselves were soaked in a red liquid, probably blood.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs regards this as an attempt to intimidate Ukrainian diplomats and sow panic.

"Terrorists are not just trying to intimidate Ukrainian diplomats.

They want to weaken, intimidate Ukraine and undermine important diplomatic work on the supply of weapons, energy equipment, and isolation of Russia," Kuleba said.

Against the backdrop of the terror campaign against Ukraine and our diplomats, Dmytro Kuleba held an urgent meeting with the ambassadors.

One of the issues discussed was the security of Ukrainian embassies and consulates.

As for who is behind the sending of such correspondence, in Kuleba's opinion, it is either Russia or one of its sympathizers.

He adds that nowadays Ukrainian diplomacy is a powerful force that opposes the enemy, it will not be possible to undermine the work of the diplomatic front and it will not be possible to weaken international support for Ukraine.
