The Kherson Regional Military Administration reports that from December 3 (Saturday) to December 5 (Monday) inclusive, humanitarian measures will continue to evacuate Ukrainian citizens who are currently on the left bank of the Dnipro River in a summer village and did not have time to leave the temporarily occupied territory of the

Kherson region.

This was announced by the head of Kherson OVA Yaroslav Yanushevich in Telegram.

"On December 3-5, the ban on crossing the Dnipro River in the area of the River Station during daylight hours will be lifted. This is done so that people living in summer houses on the left bank of the Dnipro can evacuate to Kherson. The evacuation is necessary due to the possible intensification of hostilities on this territory. Therefore, during the specified period, the ban on going to the water will be lifted, but only during daylight hours," the message says.

It is noted that

river crossings will be allowed at the River Station section.

On other sections of the river, there will be no permission to cross on the specified dates.

"In the event of the need for additional time to arrive at the de-occupied territory, we ask citizens to dock only at the River Station, as the only permitted place. During the evacuation, you must have with you documents certifying your identity and confirming your Ukrainian citizenship," Yanushevich emphasized.

The situation in the Kherson region

On October 19, the occupiers announced the evacuation of residents of the Kherson region to the left bank of the Dnieper.

Later, on October 28, they reported that the evacuation of people had been completed.

The armed forces of Ukraine returned Kherson to the control of Ukraine on November 11.

Reserve colonel of the SBU, military expert Mykhailo Prytula noted that the

invaders are preparing to surrender the territories

on the left bank of the Kherson region - due to poor logistics, it is difficult for the invaders to hold the left bank of the Kherson region.

Military expert Oleksiy Melnyk, on the other hand, believes that the

Russians will not flee from the left bank of the Dnieper as quickly

as they did on the right bank.

According to him, the group of Russian troops on the left bank of the Kherson region will remain in their positions as long as they have the opportunity to hold them.
