Today, the situation in the Northern Operational Zone is under control.

However, the

accumulation of the allied group of troops continues on the territory of

Belarus ,

but there is currently no threat of a second offensive.

The commander of the United Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhii Naev, told about it.

"We are constantly monitoring this situation, and we are preparing our forces for an adequate response. Currently, there is no threat from Belarus. The work we are doing should increase the stability of our defense and the adequacy of our response to the growth of this threat," Nayev said.

According to him, in the event of an increase in the military threat, depending on its quantitative and qualitative composition, the assistance of additional forces and means, which will be strengthened by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is foreseen.

Belarus and the Russian war against Ukraine

Belarus has once again

extended the military exercises of the

Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation at training grounds located near the border with Ukraine.

They will last at least until December 12.

Mykhailo Samus, deputy director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament on International Affairs, believes that

Belarusian forces will enter the war on the side of Russia

in any case.

American political scientist Ramis Yunus said that the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander

Lukashenko, literally found himself under the control of

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Lukashenko could have quietly left two years ago after the elections in Belarus.

Then he would have a completely different situation.

In his opinion, Belarusian civilians do not want to fight, just like the military.

If these forces unite, the power of Lukashenka may come to an end.
