It will be possible to return to scheduled power outages after increasing the capacity in the power system.

The executive director of DTEK, Dmytro Sakharuk, said this on the air of the national telethon.

"Right now the main condition is that there are no new shellings, and if there are not, then I think it is a matter of weeks when it will be possible to fully restore the generation that was damaged by the last shelling last week... We will be able to go back to the blackout schedules when people know when the lights will be off," he said.

Sakharuk also noted that in Kyiv, in particular, they are now trying to turn off the lights as close as possible to the schedules, but in some areas of the capital, emergency shutdowns are used because local network overloads are occurring.
