A fatal accident involving a car and a locomotive collided in Xinyi District, Beishi City, and the police were on the scene to deal with it.

[Reporter Qiu Junfu/Taipei Report] A deadly car accident occurred at the intersection of Xinyi District, Beishi City this morning. A 19-year-old male rider rode a motorcycle from Neihu to work in Xinyi District. He passed Section 5 of Zhongxiao East Road and turned left at Lane 215. A car accidentally collided with him, and the knight was thrown to the ground on the spot. His head was severely injured and he lost his life signs. He was sent to the hospital for emergency rescue, but he was still unable to recover. Clarify the attribution of responsibility.

According to the police investigation, at about 10:40 this morning, a 30-year-old man surnamed Yang was driving a car west to east along the fifth section of Zhongxiao East Road. Just as he was about to turn left at the entrance of Lane 215, Section 5, Zhongxiao East Road, he met an oncoming person riding a motorcycle. The man surnamed Yan hit him directly, and the impact was so powerful that the man Yan was thrown into a pool of blood, and many motorcycle parts were scattered on the road.

After the accident, the police and firefighters received a report and rushed to the scene. The ambulance personnel found that Yan's head was injured and there was no sign of life. They were immediately sent to the nearby Beijing Medical University for emergency treatment, but he was still declared dead until noon.

The police carried out a drink test on Yang, the driver of the car, and confirmed that he had not drunk alcohol. He was then brought back to the Wufenpu Police Station of the Beishi Police Xinyi Sub-bureau for interrogation. At the same time, the family members of the deceased were notified to assist in the process.
