Ukraine plans to reissue all driver's licenses, and drivers of transport companies will be forced to reissue their licenses every 5 years.

This was stated by Yulia Klymenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure,

"Now we are working on the harmonization of road traffic legislation. In fact, all driver's licenses will be reissued," Klymenko said.

She noted that drivers of transport companies will have to renew their licenses every 5 years, as is the case in the EU countries.

"Citizens will do this every 10-15 years, depending on the form in which the Verkhovna Rada adopts the law," Klymenko concluded.
