In the Turkish port of Samsun, which is located on the Black Sea coast, an explosion occurred on December 2, after which a strong fire started.

This is reported by CNN Turk with reference to emergency services.

It is noted that as of now, the fire that broke out on the fuel tank has already been extinguished.

As the local authorities reported, the cause of the explosion was the heating of one of the fuel tanks.

"The explosion occurred at around 11:15 a.m. due to the heating of one of the fuel tanks, which stores used lubricants taken from ships in the port of Samsun. The fire that started was extinguished in a short time, and there were no casualties or injuries," the report said.

It is also worth noting that initially the mass media wrote about the explosion and fire on the oil tanker.

We will remind that the oil tanker Pacific Zircon under the flag of Liberia, which is associated with the Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer,

was hit by a drone with a bomb

near the coast of Oman.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that the attack was most likely carried out by Iran using a kamikaze drone.

It is known that the vessel Pacific Zircon was carrying diesel fuel.

An unnamed Israeli official confirmed in confidence that Iran was behind the attack, which he said was using the same type of drone it previously supplied to Russia for its war in Ukraine.
