The Securities Issuance System created by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has been launched.

"APA-Economics" was informed about this by the CBA.

According to information, services provided to issuers by the Central Bank, National Depository Center and Baku Stock Exchange regarding state registration and placement of investment securities (stocks and bonds) through the system have started to be implemented electronically.

The main goal of creating this system is to create flexible financing opportunities in the market by expanding the application of electronic services on the capital market and making access to the market more accessible through digital channels.

The system includes state registration of the issue of investment securities, approval of issue prospectuses and information memoranda, state registration of the issue of shares in the case of merging, splitting and increasing or decreasing the nominal value of shares, state registration of the issue of shares during the reorganization of legal entities, withdrawal of investment securities from circulation , approval of the report on the results of the issue, state registration of the issuance of investment securities outside Azerbaijan, and state registration of additions and changes to the issue prospectus and the decision on the issue, allows to carry out the relevant operations in electronic form.

It should be noted that issuers for the previously mentioned transactions applied to all three institutions mentioned above separately, and the required documents were submitted in paper carriers.

CBA said that the implementation of the process on a single portal and the electronicization of transactions will make an important contribution to the development of the capital market in our country, increasing the quality of service in this area and ensuring the convenience of issuers.

Individuals seeking financing by issuing shares and bonds from the capital market, as well as investment companies providing underwriting services, can use the system by accessing the http://securities.e-cbar.az internet resource.
