Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siyarto within the framework of the 29th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the OSCE.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA, during the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the strategic level of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, with the expansion of bilateral and regional relations in a number of directions on a mutual basis, and with the increase in high-level dialogue and mutual visits.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that a number of projects have been implemented between the two countries in the political, trade-economic, energy, agriculture, culture and education fields, and common interests in further deepening of relations in these and other directions were brought to attention.

The parties also agreed to continue positive dynamics of cooperation within the framework of multilateral cooperation platforms, including the Organization of Turkic States.

Minister J. Bayramov informed his colleague about the process of normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, as well as the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in our territories freed from occupation, and expressed gratitude for the intention of the Hungarian side to contribute to the efforts in the territories liberated from occupation.

During the meeting, other topics of mutual interest were discussed, and they decided to continue contacts on all possible platforms.
