The winter session of Haryana Vidhansabha will start from 22 December.
The Haryana cabinet on Thursday approved several proposals, including the draft law made earlier this year regarding illegal conversions.
While presiding over the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also informed that the winter session of the Haryana Vidhansabha will begin from December 22.
The cabinet also approved the proposal to give driver allowance of Rs 20,000 per month to the MLAs and decided to introduce the Haryana Land Sharing Policy-2022.
Khattar said that for the first time in the Gram Sabha meeting to be held across the state on December 3, the Panchs and Sarpanchs elected in the recently held panchayat elections will be administered the oath by the village guardians.
The Chief Minister informed that under the 'Haryana Panchayat Patron Scheme-2021', first class officers serving in various departments have been nominated as village patrons.
These officers will help in solving the problems of the villagers and ensure the overall development of the villages adopted by them.
According to a statement, the Haryana cabinet has approved the draft of the Prevention of Illegal Conversion Rules, 2022.
