Before the second phase of Gujarat assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its campaign.

PM Modi will address public meetings in Gujarat today at Kanakraj, Patan, Sojitra and finally in Ahmedabad, where he will also hold a road show.

While Union Minister Amit Shah will hold rallies in Bechraji, Vijapur and Gandhinagar South and road shows in Vadodara.

On the other hand, Congress leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will hold rallies in Bhiloda and Gandhi Nagar South, where Amit Shah is going to address the public meeting.

In the first phase of the Gujarat assembly elections, polling was held on 89 seats on Thursday, while the remaining 93 seats, including 16 seats in Ahmedabad city, will go to polls on December 5.
