The growth of domestic crime in the current year compared to the previous year is 0.7%, and detection rate has increased by 7%.

If you are looking for a problem in the growth of domestic crime, it is not in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This was stated by the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivan Demerdzhiev

Ivan Demerdzhiev is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience.

He was born in 1975 in Plovdiv.

In 2001 at blitzcontrol today in the National Assembly.

"

A solution will be sought to limit it, but the myth that it has grown by leaps and bounds is not true. However, the increase in telephone fraud is true. However, they are mainly carried out from the territory of other states - most often Romania and Greece, so we are improving communication with the services of these countries," he added.

"If the funds requested by the EC are not received, the budget of the Ministry of the Interior must be increased in order to ensure the requested increase in the border police staff by 1,260 people," announced Demerdzhiev.

According to him, the Ministry of Interior has diverted funds as much as possible and received some help from the EC, but the commission has refused to provide funds for the construction of another type of deterrent along the border, because it has already given once, but it is ready to finance other type of activities.

The interior minister added that the current facility along our border is extremely unreliable.

According to him, workable technical solutions are being considered, but this requires time and financial resources: "Work must be done in places where the causes of illegal migration arise."

In connection with the movement of migrants inside the country, Demerdzhiev pointed out that a tactic has been developed to safely stop the cars transporting citizens who entered our country illegally.

Officers are equipped with new lanes for safe stopping, at higher speeds, and guidelines are given for better communication between duty units and police units.

Regarding the elections, there are 90 pre-trial proceedings, they are being worked on.

There has been significant progress on most of them.

The situation in this election as an action or counteraction to the bought or distorted vote is in no way different from previous elections.

A line has been established which is a good level to counter this crime.”
