A powerful explosion went off in the Turkish city of Samsun.

The explosion occurred today at a terminal for liquid fuels in the port on the southern coast of the Black Sea.  

The explosion caused a fire.

Local residents shot a video.

The footage shows plumes of black smoke rising over the city.

"The fire has been extinguished. There are no reports of casualties," reported the Israeli media outlet Minnews, which reported on the explosion and the fire.

"The causes of the incident are in the process of being clarified," said a representative of the local authorities.
