In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, Himanta Biswa Sarma shares his views on various issues

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that since the 2002 riots, the Gujarat government has taken several steps to ensure peace in the state, due to which there is now permanent peace in the state.

In a special interview with NDTV, Himanta openly expressed his views on issues related to Love Jihad, Congress Party and its former President Rahul Gandhi.

    They usually do not participate in riots.

    Hindus as a community also do not believe in Jihad.

    The Hindu community will never participate in the riots.
