In the Ukrainian city of Neteshyn, the power plant is down and the hospital is without power.

"After rocket attacks, the city was left without electricity, heating, hot and cold water. We will be grateful for any help," the authorities in Ukraine reported.

Almost half of Ukraine's electricity grid is down

These are generators of 50 kW and 400 kW.

Help that Ukraine wants from Bulgaria.

The documents were published by Ivan Sotirov, who is a former MP and now a civil activist.

"The request for generators in distressed areas is pure humanitarian aid, we are not talking about military support here.

We are faced with a complete lack of interest on the part of the Ministry of Defense", reports Ivan Sotirov, chairman of the Civil Society "Dignity, Responsibility, Morality" on Facebook.

He also showed documents for proof.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense reports that the gasoline generators they sell on the commodity exchange do not meet the power requirements of the Ukrainians.

"Generators with a capacity of 50 kW and 400 kW have been requested. After an inspection by the Ministry of Defense, it was found that the redundant units designated for sale do not meet the requirements for the necessary power specified in the letter of the mayor of the city of Neteshin", the Ministry of A donation campaign collected BGN 250,000 in just 5 days.

Manol Peykov and hundreds of people have already bought 74 machines.

"We have ordered 3 large generators of 100,000 kW for the hospitals in Kherson, this is already life-saving.

They operate with spearheads, which is shocking", said Manol Peykov to BTV.

Today, Manol receives a generator from a Bulgarian who donates his personal one.

"People are hellishly empathetic, if someone tells you that Bulgarians are not empathetic - don't believe them," he said.

Tomorrow is the deadline for the Ministry of Defense to say what military aid we will provide to Ukraine.
