In Kharkiv, reconstruction began in Northern Saltivka, the district that suffered the most from the racist shelling.

At the same time, builders are working on more than half a hundred mutilated houses.

At the same time, utility workers restore water supply in high-rise buildings, because people return to their homes every day.

Since morning, the facilities have been busy with work.

In one of the houses, the attackers hit three times, in the apartment on the seventh floor, only one wall was standing, the eighth and ninth floors are not there at all.

Residents of the nearby entrance were also left homeless, the ceiling collapsed from a direct hit.

There is now one resident left in this house.

The roar of construction works, he says, lifts the mood every day.

The woman is waiting for the roof to be repaired as soon as possible, because the apartment floods during the rains.

"When it rains, all this flows in 2-3 hours.

Coldly.

Dampness, moisture.

Running from the nose.

Coldly.

The temperature is what's outside, what's in the apartment," says Ms. Tetyana, who survived the bombing of her house.

She remembers everything to the smallest detail.

"A plane flew in and dropped two rockets on our house.

One got on the roof, one got on a bench near the entrance.

And two rockets flew into the 16-story building opposite and it caught fire.

It was March 5 at 3:20 p.m.

And then at 6 o'clock the curfew and shelling began," she says.

The builders assure that they are trying to complete the work on the house as quickly as possible.

They promise to completely restore the walls and roof in a month.

"It's difficult, but we will do it.

We will rebuild, of course.

I do everything I need to do.

The people who are waiting need it," the workers say.

At the same time, in gutted high-rise buildings, where people have already settled, utility workers started working - boiling and changing pipes.

"They gave where people appeared.

People began to arrive and at the moment when the water was turned on, frozen areas appeared.

Somewhere in the entrance on the floors, somewhere in the basement, somewhere they were damaged by the blast wave," they conclude.

In the coming months, it is planned to rebuild 67 damaged houses in Saltivka, which will require the least expenses.

Meanwhile, according to the experts' conclusions, four hundred buildings are to be demolished, after the victory they plan to build new skyscrapers instead.
