Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a new explanation to young people about why he tried to annex the territories of Ukraine.

The Russian dictator made his statement at a meeting with the participants of the congress of young scientists.

Note that at the same time, he avoided naming the territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Region, where there was also an attempt at annexation, and from where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are knocking out the occupiers.
