What happened in the National Theater is an absolute disgrace, I am outraged.

If the director doesn't pull himself out of the swamp, I promise you the swamp will be drained.

The number of people released is already impressive, the benefits that have been received are also impressive.

This was stated by the Acting Minister of Culture Velislav Minekov to journalists during a briefing.

The actress Albena Koleva explained that she had published an appeal and stated that there is a danger that the National Theater will subside to extremes.

"You are the principal and you have to take an attitude.

Directors are elected who choose the fate of entire theaters as if they bought it", she noted and asked the minister to express an opinion regarding the problems in the National Theater.

Minekov emphasized that he had taken a sufficiently clear position.

"What happened in the National Theater is an absolute outrage, I am outraged.

He explained that the director Morfov received an indictment signed by the director of the theater Vasil Vasilev and was then questioned by the police.

"This is humiliating," he emphasized.

The minister pointed out that there was a court afterwards and trade unionists and other people were summoned and asked to sign a declaration of the theatre.

He added that people were asked to leave the theater and even an artist was kicked out screaming.

"It is about violence that does not stop", he is categorical.

"I will wait a little longer, one of my expectations is the result of the inspection.

The number of people released is already impressive, the benefits that have been received are also impressive.

The decision lies with the director, I was not the director during the competition.

If the director doesn't pull himself out of the swamp, I promise you the swamp will be drained," he announced.

The acting minister emphasized that he does not set a deadline for a reaction.

Minekov commented that things regarding the election of a director are doubtful and a minister can control the director if he so chooses.

"Therefore, actions must be taken immediately to change the regulation on the election of directors", he explained.

He added that everything is in the hands of director Vasil Vassilev and called on Vassilev to do the necessary or leave.

The official minister commented that procedurally, in the absence or removal of the director, the next ranked in the competition must be invited to take his position, and in case of refusal, a new competition is appointed.

The caretaker minister said that with a signature organized by a director, he always has doubts.

"I don't suspect, I know how it goes.

The request is such that it cannot but be accepted by the employees.

I do not accept these signatures and throw them in the trash," he noted.

Minekov comments that the change of director is always accompanied by violent reactions, but then he is greeted with love.

According to him, this is part of the folk psychology of Bulgarians.

Minekov explained that there is good news, not only accompanying horrors and yellow news.

"We had a meeting with representatives of the archaeological community, the ambassadors of Serbia and Macedonia.

Finally, we will have an exhibition," he announced.

The official Minister of Culture specified that they expect the exhibition to be exhibited in Bulgaria next year, and in two years to be exhibited in Belgrade, Serbia.

According to him, the exhibition includes the materials and history of the study of the ancient necropolis discovered in 1918 near Trebenishte.

The official minister indicated that he was at the opening of the information center in Skopje and the delegation was in a broad format.

"The opening itself was met with applause from the Macedonian side, no incidents took place.

There were performances by Bulgarian musicians", he added.

Minekov explained that a project was prepared for the completion of archaeological finds in Karambo.

He explained that there will be serious work on the work activities on this find.

The official minister reminded that he was on a visit to the EC.

"One topic was aid to Ukraine.

We will help mainly with materials for museums and specialists in the field of restoration and conservation.

The other is a proposal for a commission to restore war damage to real estate in Ukraine.

We had a conversation regarding the intentions of the EU and the EC for a new act dedicated to the freedom of the media", he explained.

Minekov added that there is progress with media freedom.

He reminded that last year the caretaker government made public some of the media services.

"We are really ahead.

I look forward to the media freedom act, which will appear in the EU in a year or a year and a half," he announced.

Minekov also commented on the name change of the Bulgarian clubs in the RMS.

He emphasized that the ministry is of the position that the clubs are independent.

He emphasized that they cannot be forced to change their names because someone doesn't like it, writes "24 Chasa".
