Since February 24, about 13,000 soldiers have died in the war with Russia.

This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak on Channel 24.

"We have official estimates of the General Staff, which are voiced by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. They range

from 10 to 12.5-13 thousand dead

. That is, we openly talk about the number of dead. Yes, we have more losses due to injuries," said the adviser to the head of the OP.

At the same time, Podolyak emphasizes that the number of dead Ukrainian civilians is

"definitely not 20,000"

.

"That's why we say on various international platforms that Russia is not at war with the military: it will lose the war there. The

Russian Federation is at war with the civilian population

, especially in the occupied territories. And there are a lot of mass graves, torture camps, etc.," Podolyak noted. .

The mistake of the President of the European Commission regarding Ukraine's losses in the war

It will be recalled that the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that the losses of the Ukrainian military allegedly amounted to 100,000 people killed.

Later, the European Commission explained the mistake of its head, saying that this figure was taken from external sources and related to the loss of killed and wounded and "was intended to show the brutality of Russia."

The President's Office stated that

only the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Defense or the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

of Ukraine should provide reliable information about Ukraine's losses .

Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the President's Office, noted that Ukraine's losses in the war with the Russian Federation amount to "from 10 to 20 thousand dead soldiers."

Instead, according to Podoliak, the Russian Federation lost 200,000 soldiers in the war against Ukraine, 90,000 of whom were killed.
