The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

Dmytro Kuleba

, said that he discussed with the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Burbok, new supplies of weapons and the strengthening of EU sanctions against the aggressor Russia.

The message about this appeared on his Twitter.

"We also discussed ways of countering the genocidal war that Russia is waging today," the statement said.

According to the diplomat, it was about supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and increasing sanctions pressure on Moscow. 

Kuleba thanked his German colleague, Annalena Burbok, for her personal role in Germany's restoration of historical justice and the recognition of the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

We will remind you that Dmytro Kuleba agreed with his Swedish colleague Tobias Billström on the

strengthening of sanctions against the aggressor of the Russian Federation.

 Politicians also discussed ways to accelerate Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
